We're off to Model Town this weekend where we intend to see the Johar Town/Green Town/Kot Laphpat areas.
We're meeting at 4.30 on Sunday 9 May at the parking lot of the Model Town Park.
All you'll need is a road worthy cycle.

ReplyDeleteI also organized a cycling rally in Islamabad called "Ride for Life". It's great to know that others are doing are doing stuff like this as well. My first rally was organized very recently on 20th March 2011, and it's a funny story, but I actually didn't know about Critical Mass. The funny part is that during my rally, while I was riding on the road a random guy stopped his car and started cheering " Very good guys!!! We did this in Lahore". Now I didn't know who this "we" was? but I was aching to find out. So I googled "Lahore Cycling Rally" and Critical Mass was the first thing I saw. So the entire point of telling you this story is whether Critical Mass and Ride for Life could organize a rally together? because then it would become a two city event and the visibility would increase. BTW my next rally is on 1st May.
